 Going to Campeche is more than traveling in space, since its histories, constructions, traditions and countless legends represent a journey back in time to the mystical pre-Hispanic period, until the period of Spanish conquest and until the time when the city was threatened by savage pirates.   Almost all the tourist attractions of Campeche can be met on foot or by taking a taxi and in minutes you will be in the right place. It is not a very big city, it might take you two to three days to know these tourist attractions: Santiago's Bastion It is located between Av. 16 de Septiembre and Calle 49 of the city of Campeche.
